GEL POLISH
Professional manicure
Professional gel nail polishes will give you several weeks of long-lasting beauty on your nails. As we strictly supervise the production, we test the gel polishes in detail and select for you the most attractive shades, which you can always rely on at home or in the salon and which will always satisfy even the most demanding customers.
The brushes of these gel polishes are practical and make the application of the gel polish much easier, especially on the inner edge of the nail. With the high quality, highly pigmented gel polishes, you will always achieve a perfect result.
Another advantage of these gel polishes is that you can use both LED and UV lamps. If you have a 48 W LED lamp, you only need 30 to 60 seconds to harden a layer and with a 36 W UV lamp a maximum of 2 minutes.
Practical information
The durability of the manicure depends directly on the thorough preparation of the nail before the application of the gel polish. The choice of the base coat is very important, we recommend our proven CosmoNail /Base coat/ or Rubber base/ for classic care.
Application and removal
Never underestimate the application of gel polish and do not rush. Pre-treatment of the nail is very important, as is the application of the gel polish on the nail. Be consistent and careful to avoid running the gel polish into the cuticle and any unwanted contact of the liquid with the surrounding skin.
Apply the base coat to the prepared nail plate and cover it with a UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. Then spread the coloured gel polish evenly over the nail plate and cover it in the UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds. If you need a thicker coat, apply a second coat of gel polish. As a last step, apply the top coat and cure in the UV/LED lamp for 60 seconds.
Polymerisation: UV lamp - 2 min, UV/LED lamp 30 - 60 sec.
Always remove the gel polish using a file to break the resistant top coat (file only the top coat or part of the colour, avoid the natural nail), wrap the nails in pulp soaked in plenty of acetone, leave for 10 - 15 minutes and then gently remove the softened gel polish residues using an extractor or an orange stick. Never remove gel polish by force, otherwise you could damage the natural nail. If you still can't remove the gel polish with acetone, file it off carefully with a file or an electric sander. Use 150/180 or 180/240 grit. Be careful not to damage the natural nail.
