A revolution in nail modeling!

It combines the best properties of gel and acrylic in one product—poly gel. Lightweight poly gel does not weigh down your nails. Its flexibility provides comfort and protects against breakage. Extra durability for demanding clients. It does not have the chemical odor associated with working with acrylic. Easy to use according to your preferences. Ideal for professionals, but can also be used at home. Poly gel allows you to create a model that has the strength and durability of acrylic while being flexible and light like gel.

What is acrylic gel?

Acrylic gel is a very thick gel that is applied using a brush and special liquid, just like when working with acrylics. However, like gel, it cures in a UV or LED lamp and then produces an exudate (a sticky liquid on the surface of the nail after curing in the lamp). This must be wiped off with a cleaner. In addition, working with acrylic gels is very user-friendly. Thanks to its perfect consistency, you can set the pace of work yourself and, most importantly, you do not burden your respiratory tract with the odor that usually arises when working with acrylic.

Excellent quality

One of the many great features of poly gel and acrylic gel is their durability and true longevity, which allows them to remain on the nails until the next refill. Both professionals and those who do their own nails at home appreciate working with this product. The average curing time in a UV lamp is 90 seconds, in an LED lamp 60 seconds, and in a UV/LED lamp 10–30 seconds (the time can be shortened with 48W and more powerful UV/LED lamps).

Usage

1. Preparing the nails

  • Disinfect your hands and file your nails to the desired shape and length.
  • Carefully push back or remove the cuticle and mattify the surface of the nail with a fine file or polishing block to remove any shine.
  • Remove excess dust with a brush.
  • Before application, use an adhesive (primer) and allow it to dry in the air (do not cure in a lamp).

2. Application of acrylic gel

  • Apply a small amount of acrylic gel to the nail.
  • Moisten the brush in a special liquid (or brush cleaner) and gently shape the acrylic gel on the nail.
  • Proceed carefully from the center to the tip of the nail and make sure that the gel does not run onto the cuticle.
  • Acrylic gel does not run due to its density, which makes it easier to work with.

3. Curing and finishing

  • Cure the nail in a UV/LED lamp. The curing time depends on the type of lamp and gel.
  • After curing, you can apply a colored layer of gel or gel polish and cure again.
  • Finally, apply a top coat (final gel polish) and cure in the lamp.
  • Wipe off the residue (sticky surface) with cleaner, unless it is a self-leveling gel.

4. Final adjustments

  • After curing, you can file the nail into the desired shape and polish it with a polishing file until it shines.
  • For optimal results, use a nourishing cuticle oil.
