COSMONAIL Rubber Base Clear, 8 ml

COSMONAIL Rubber Base is a transparent, elastic rubber base that creates a strong bond between the natural nail and subsequently applied materials.

The base is suitable both for strengthening and light levelling of the natural nail plate and as a base layer under gel polish, gel, acrygel and polygel. It can also be used for extensions with upper and lower forms.

How to use Rubber Base

1. Nail preparation
Shape the nails as desired, gently mattify the surface and thoroughly remove any dust. Apply a dehydrator and primer if needed.

2. Rubber Base application
Apply a thin rubbing layer of Rubber Base and cure in a UV/LED lamp.

3. Strengthening and levelling
If needed, apply a second, thicker layer to strengthen and lightly level the nail plate and create a subtle apex. Cure in the lamp.

4. Further application
After curing, continue with the chosen material — gel polish, gel, acrygel or polygel.

Use under modelling materials

When working with gel, acrygel or polygel, apply a thin rubbing layer of Rubber Base to the prepared nail plate. After curing, continue modelling with the chosen material.

When working with upper or lower forms, Rubber Base is used as a base layer to improve the adhesion of the modelling material to the natural nail.

Professional tip

For thin, soft and problematic nails, use Rubber Base as the first elastic layer before applying a harder material. This combination helps create a reliable bond between the flexible natural nail plate and the hard modelling material.
